A fun short stylized scene I worked on. As I'm sure some of you could tell from the title and music, this was partly inspired by Final Fantasy (as I always am).
Everything was modeled in Blender (except the rock and tree which were modeled in ZBrush). Textures done in Substance Designer / Painter. Rendered in UE5 (Lumen GI, SS reflections). I used some floral patterns from Milad Kambari on the trim sheet.
Please excuse the "splotches" throughout the video, but I reduced it as much as I could. Unfortunately the rendering process was quite problematic (hence why I'm actually using SS reflections), but I'll get into that another time.
Audio: Fabula Nova Crystallis from Final Fantasy XIII

Using a noise map to displace the carpet (also used for banners and drapes)
Generator for leaves/ branches on the walls
Generator for grass / flowers
Re-using the flower's opacity maps in a tile sampler to create the leaf maps
